Eli Gras has worked in several creative fields since the early 80's, from experimental to electropop, Greek music, minimalism, choral, funk and electroacoustics. As a trained luthier she builds her own instruments and creates visual/sound installations (“Peeled Piano”, “Saló Sonor”).

Her music has always been oscillating between (odd) song-writing and experimental sound art. The former she acts out in the electropop-dada duo Motor Combo and her "one girl band" UnPop. Her more experimental side shines through in her improvisation groups Etnia, Obmuz, The Shower Sisters, Laptopless Orchestra and Ome Acustics, as well as in collaborations with artists such as H.J. Roedelius, Pelayo Arrizabalaga, Pierre Bastien, David Fenech, Juergen Hall and Adele Madau.

Eli Gras is also the founder and director of the NoNoLogic Festival (2007) and the publishing label La Olla Expréss (2002).
